Welcome to the privacy policy of Irfan Miral. As a Senior DevOps Engineer & Systems Architect, I respect your privacy and am committed to protecting your personal data.

1. Data Collection

I collect personal data you provide voluntarily, such as your name, email address, and messages when using the contact form to discuss projects, consulting, or employment opportunities. I also automatically collect some technical data via Google Analytics to understand website traffic and improve the user experience. When you submit the contact form, I additionally collect technical metadata about your device and session — see Section 6 for details.

2. Google Analytics & Google reCAPTCHA

This website uses Google Analytics to analyze traffic and engagement. This service may set cookies on your device, but only if you provide your explicit consent through the cookie banner. I also use Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise on the contact form to prevent spam and abuse. This is treated as a strictly necessary service to protect the infrastructure and ensure secure communication.

3. Data Protection & Sharing

Your personal data is solely used for professional communication and evaluating potential business opportunities. I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Your Rights (GDPR & KVKK)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), you have the right to:

5. Developer Tools

This website provides free developer utilities — DNS lookup, WHOIS / domain lookup, SSL/TLS certificate checker, HTTP security headers checker, and email configuration checker (SPF/DKIM/DMARC). When you use these tools, the domain name or URL you enter is sent to our server and forwarded to the relevant public infrastructure (DNS resolvers, RDAP registries, HTTPS endpoints). No query data is stored beyond the scope of the individual request. All tool endpoints are rate-limited by IP address to prevent abuse.

6. Technical Metadata via Contact Form

When you submit the contact form, your browser automatically provides — and I collect — the following technical metadata: operating system and browser (derived from your User-Agent string), screen resolution, browser language preference, and timezone. I also log your IP address and attempt a geo-location lookup (city, region, country, and ISP/organization) via a third-party IP geolocation service. This information is embedded in the email notification I receive and is used solely to understand the geographic and technical context of incoming enquiries. It is not shared with any third party for marketing purposes.
